GRANTHAM, Pa. – Delaware Valley track & field made its mark at the Messiah Invite and Multi, delivering standout performances across a competitive 24-team field.
 
Powered by a dominant sprint double from Victor Cruz and a series of strong field performances, the Delaware Valley men's track & field team placed 10th out of 24 teams with 23.50 points, while the women finished tied for 21st with four points.
 
Cruz headlined the day with first-place finishes in both the 200m and 400m, while Brody Troy added a sixth-place finish in the 400m hurdles and Jonathan Beam contributed points in the triple jump.
 
On the women's side, Emma East led the way with a fifth-place showing in the 800m and helped pace a sixth-place 4x800m relay, highlighting a trend of competitive middle-distance depth alongside solid multi-event and throwing performances.
