Baseball Takes Down Flying Dutchmen 16-6

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Delaware Valley used a dominant late-game surge to pull away from Lebanon Valley, scoring 11 runs over the final three innings to secure a 16–6 victory.

The Aggies struck first in the opening inning on an RBI groundout from Braedyn Kormanic, but Lebanon Valley answered in the second with Satterfield's RBI single to even the score. Delaware Valley quickly regained control in the bottom half of the inning, plating four runs behind RBI hits from Gavin Migliori and Nathan Fisher, along with a run-producing fielder's choice from Liam Martin to build a 5–1 lead.

Lebanon Valley chipped away in the middle innings, scoring twice in the fourth and taking the lead in the fifth. A triple from Palmieri and run-scoring hits from Butz and Burger highlighted a three-run fifth inning that gave the visitors a 6–5 advantage.

Delaware Valley responded immediately in the bottom of the fifth, tying the game on an RBI single from Eli Scott before Daniel Murphy's fielder's choice brought in the go-ahead run. The Aggies extended their lead in the sixth, capitalizing on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly from Fisher to make it 9–6.

The game broke open in the seventh. Delaware Valley sent 11 batters to the plate and scored seven runs, highlighted by a two-run single from Fisher and a three-run home run from Kody Boyer. The inning turned a tight contest into a comfortable 16–6 lead.

Ben Boyer earned the win in relief, tossing 4.2 scoreless innings while allowing just four hits and striking out three to shut down Lebanon Valley's offense after the fifth inning.

At the plate, Delaware Valley totaled 15 hits, led by Fisher's four RBIs and multi-hit efforts from Migliori, Martin, and Aidan Devlin. Boyer finished with three RBIs, including the decisive home run. Lebanon Valley recorded 14 hits in the loss, with Satterfield and Burger each driving in two runs.
