Aggies Win 12–1 at Penn State Brandywine

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Delaware Valley continued its hot start to the 2026 season with a 12–1 road victory over Penn State Brandywine Sunday afternoon in Media, Pa.
The Aggies opened the scoring in the first. Gavin Migliori singled to left, advanced on a wild pitch, and moved to third on Liam Martin's sacrifice bunt. Nathan Fisher followed with a sacrifice fly to right, bringing Migliori home for a 1–0 lead.

DelVal broke the game open in the second. Andrew Cullinan worked a walk and John Dzielawa followed with another free pass before Eli Scott lined a two-run single to center, scoring both runners. Later in the inning, Migliori reached and Martin delivered a two-RBI single to first base, plating Migliori and Scott to stretch the advantage to 5–0.
Penn State Brandywine got one back in the bottom half when W. Collison doubled and R. Snyder singled to right to make it 5–1.

The decisive inning came in the third, as Delaware Valley sent 11 men to the plate and scored six runs. Jared Ecenroad singled to start the rally, and Ben Boyer followed with a walk. After Cullinan was hit by a pitch to load the bases, Dzielawa drew an RBI walk to force in a run. Pat Higgins was then hit by a pitch to bring home another, and Migliori added a bases-loaded walk to push the lead to 8–1. Martin reached on a fielding error by the first baseman to score Dzielawa, Fisher was hit by a pitch to force in Higgins, and Boyer capped the inning with an RBI walk as the Aggies extended the lead to 11–1.

DelVal added its final run in the fourth. Dzielawa reached on an outfield error and Scott followed with his second RBI single of the game, driving a ball to left to make it 12–1.
The Aggies finished with nine hits and nine walks while also taking advantage of four hit-by-pitches. Scott led the way offensively, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. Martin drove in three runs, while Fisher added two RBI. Migliori scored twice and reached base four times.

On the mound, Flynn (1–0) earned the win with five strong innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out two and walking one. Landon Bietz tossed a scoreless sixth with one strikeout, and Pat Barrett worked a clean seventh, striking out one to close the game.

Delaware Valley limited Penn State Brandywine to three hits and one run while recording 10 fly-ball outs and seven groundouts in the victory. The Aggies return on Saturday against Lancaster Bible College.
