READING, Pa. – The Delaware Valley University track & field teams delivered a historic performance at the MAC Indoor Championships, earning major conference awards, multiple medals and rewriting the program record book.
The Aggies were led by
Victor Cruz claiming second in the men's 400m and first in the 200m. The graduate student also set a new program mark in the 400m with a time of 49.86. His performance earned him MAC Indoor Men's Track Athlete of the Year. Assistant coach
Anthony Stango earned the MAC Assistant Coach of the Year Honor.
The men's 4x200m relay came home with hardware taking second overall in the event with a new school record time of 1:31.90. The school records didn't stop there.
Emma East set a new mark in the women's 400m clocking in at 1:02.31. East joined forces with a squad of Aggies to set new school records in both the women's 400m DMR and women's 4x800m relay.
