DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Delaware Valley University field hockey team, led by first-year head coach Hannah Armstrong, will open its 2025 campaign on Wednesday, September 3.

The Aggies, who went 8-12 last season, begin on the road at Gwynedd Mercy—the same team they defeated in last year's opener with a dominant 5-1 performance. They return to Doylestown for their home opener on Friday, September 5, against Widener.

DelVal then hits the road to face Immaculata on September 9 before returning home for back-to-back contests against Eastern (Sept. 10) and Neumann (Sept. 16). Neumann is set to join the Middle Atlantic Conference in the 2026-27 academic year.

A home matchup with Ramapo on September 27 breaks up a stretch of road games at Moravian (Sept. 20), Keystone (Sept. 23), and Drew (Sept. 30). The Aggies will close out their non-conference schedule with home games against Hood College (Oct. 4) and The College of Wooster (Oct. 7).

Conference play picks up with a home stretch, as DelVal welcomes Arcadia on October 11 followed by Lebanon Valley on October 15. The Aggies will then hit the road for a pair of MAC Freedom matchups at DeSales (Oct. 18) and King's College (Oct. 22). In last season's meeting with King's, DelVal earned a 2-0 shutout behind five saves from Alyssa Rudd.

On October 25, the Aggies will travel to take on Stevens, before returning home for their final home game of the season on October 29 against FDU-Florham. DelVal edged the Devils in thrilling fashion last year with an overtime goal from Ashley Birmingham.

The regular season wraps up on Saturday, November 1, at Misericordia. In their 2024 matchup, the Aggies earned a 1-0 win with Rudd making 12 saves and Alex Graffius scoring on the team's only shot of the game.
