Aggies Fall to Lebanon Valley on the Road

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Delaware Valley women's lacrosse team struggled to gain offensive momentum netting just one goal in the 23-1 loss to Lebanon Valley on the road.

The Flying Dutchmen came out strong, putting up 11 goals in the first quarter. The Aggies were held to just two shots through the first three quarters. Goalkeeper Emily Drake tallied six saves on 22 shots faced in the first 45 minutes of play.

Momentum began to swing in the Aggies' direction in the final 15 minutes. A free position attempt at 8:41 put Kyra McKeegan in scoring position sending the shot just wide. An almost immediate foul by the Flying Dutchmen gave the Aggies a redemption at the free position attempt at 8:13. This time Amelia Helkowski stepped up to score the lone goal for the Aggies.

DelVal returns to action this Wednesday, Apr. 16 when they host Arcadia at Robert A. Lipinski field at 4 p.m.
