DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – After a postponement at Rosemont, Delaware Valley men's lacrosse may open the 2025 season at home on Wednesday, Feb. 26 hosting Cairn at 5:00 p.m.
The Aggies missed out on postseason play last year, finishing 7th in the MAC Freedom conference with a 5-12 overall record. However, the 2024 squad set multiple records, including four in a dominant 24-5 win over Centenary (N.J.). In that game, the Aggies set single-game records for 38 points, 24 goals, 14 assists, and 59 ground balls—all against the Cyclones.
Entering his third season, Coach
Will Lawlor brings in a fresh group of talent, including eight first-year players and two upperclassmen,
AJ Cooper and
Sasha Didden.
Kieran Schneider, a key returner for the Aggies at midfield, will be a player to watch. Now a junior, Schneider led DelVal last year with 60 shots on goal. Among other returning players,
Ryley Savering is a standout, having tallied 23 goals and 4 assists in 2024.
Following their season opener against Rosemont, the Aggies will return home to Robert A. Lipinski Field on Wednesday, Feb. 28, to face Cairn, before hosting Senior Day on Saturday, March 1. MAC Freedom competition will begin on April 5 when the Aggies host DeSales at 1:00 p.m.
