Four Aggies Shoot Double-Digits in 100-93 Win Over Rowan

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Delaware Valley men's basketball put up triple digits on Thursday night, using four double-figure scorers to grind out a 100–93 home win over Rowan.

Jordan Strickland opened the night with the Aggies' first six points, helping DelVal keep pace early. A deadball rebound followed by a block from Brian Mordi sparked a run that featured five quick points from Antonio Redding before Mordi threw down a dunk off a defensive board. JT Wright snagged a rebound that turned into a Redding jumper, pushing the Aggies ahead 19–9. Mordi added another dunk near the midway mark of the half, and a Mike Herrin tip-in with 8:08 left stretched the lead to 12. Rowan responded with threes from McCarron and Williams to cut it to seven, but Jake McGinty found Herrin for a layup to steady the Aggies. Despite foul trouble, DelVal held the lead, and Strickland buried a three just before the break for a 48–40 advantage.

Back-to-back layups from Baker and a McCarron three pulled Rowan within two early in the second, but free throws from Herrin, McGinty, and Everett—along with a Redding triple—pushed the margin back to nine. Strickland set up McGinty for a layup as the teams traded baskets. Mordi scored inside, and with the Profs now in foul trouble, Everett and Mordi kept DelVal in control at the line. Herrin knocked down three straight jumpers—mixed with Redding free throws—to build a 13-point cushion with five minutes left. Rowan stayed in it with scores from Pirone and Cantey, but Redding continued to draw contact, and DelVal's 23 made free throws in the second half sealed the seven-point win as the Aggies finished at 76.3 percent from the stripe.

Now 3–1 to start the 2025–26 season, DelVal heads to McDaniel College on Saturday, Nov. 22.
