ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Delaware Valley women's soccer team fell to Lebanon Valley College, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Goalkeeper Nicole Ocejo was busy early, as the Dutchmen fired six shots in the opening 10 minutes. She made her first save in the ninth and another in the 11th before Lebanon Valley broke through in the 22nd minute on a goal from Sepkovic. Lasky added another four minutes later, and Miller made it 3-0 in the 36th. The Aggies were held without a shot in the first half.
Out of the break, Sepkovic and Lasky struck again — both scoring in the 49th minute, just 36 seconds apart. With Dekota Barthold taking over in goal for the second half, she made five saves in her 45 minutes of action. Jenna Green was issued a yellow card in the 71st minute, while Alexa DelGiudice recorded the Aggies' lone shot, which was saved in the 88th. O'Malley added the final tally for Lebanon Valley in the closing minute to seal the 6-0 result.
With the loss, the Aggies fall to 3-8-1 overall and 0-2-0 in MAC Freedom play. They close out non-conference action on Wednesday, October 15, when they host Albright College at 4 p.m.
