DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Delaware Valley cross country teams welcomed runners from four institutions to the campus for the Green & Gold Invitational.
 
The women's team placed first in the 6K race out of the three total teams tallying 18 points. The men's team placed fourth of five teams in the 8K with 58 points.
 
Emma East was the first to cross the line for the Aggies, placing third with a time of 26:45.21. Lindsay Taylor followed closely behind in fourth with a time of 26:52.91.
 
Emma Haas, Arianna Askew and Kamella Gechter all placed top 10 finishing in sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively. Haas recorded a time of 28:04.99 followed by Askew with a time of 28:16.19. Gechter rounded out the trio clocking in at 28:24.35.
 
Samantha Swearingen and Alexis Anderson clocked in under the 30-minute mark. Swearingen placed 11^th with a time of 29:33.59 followed by Anderson in 12^th with a time of 29:38:35.
 
Eva Herrera and Alannah Perkins rounded out the field for the Aggies with times of 30:08.61 and 32:04.49, respectively.
 
Matthew Skikus was the first to cross the line for DelVal on the men's side, placing sixth with a time of 29:06.14. Jake Cammarota also placed top 10 clocking in at 29:49.27 for ninth place.
 
The trio of Isaac Boyer, Brendan Foreman and Aidan Gallagher all finished back-to-back, each claiming a top 20 spot. Boyer crossed the line first in 18^th with a time of 31:55.12. Foreman followed nearly 10 seconds later, 32:05.99, placing 19^th. Gallagher was the final across the line earning 20^th with a time of 32:02.93.
 
Jack Bisignano, Shane Ocampo and William Hale rounded out the field for DelVal. Bisignano clocked in at 33:40.21. Ocampo followed with a time of 34:51.00, while Hale rounded things out at 38:40.53.
 
The Aggies return to action next Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Border Battle hosted by Rowan.
