DelVal earned an early lead in the second set using an 8-0 run to pull ahead by seven, 12-5. The Knights would only close the gap to just five before a 4-0 spurt created a nine-point lead for the Aggies, 19-10. DelVal held the 6-3 edge ending the set on a 5-0 run for the 25-13 win.

The Aggies capitalized on a service error in the third set putting up six unanswered points for the 10-4 lead. The Knights would cut the deficit to three twice, but a kill from Grace Kane sparked a 5-0 run to extend the advantage to eight, 18-10. Scoring slowed for DelVal with NJCU using an 8-1 run to make it two-point game, but an attack error gave the Aggies the final point they needed to secure the 25-22 win.
