The Knights responded with another four-goal streak over the next four minutes to pull ahead by six, 9-3. With two minutes to play in the half, Kimbel possessed the ball behind the net. The first-year brought it around the left side where Rawding awaited yet again securing her second goal of the game to end the Aggies' 10-minute scoring drought, 9-4. With just one second remaining in the half a successful free position shot for the Knights put them ahead by six to end the frame, 10-4.
The duo of Kimbel and Rawding started things off strong, putting the Aggies on the board just a minute into the second half with Kimbel securing the ball on the right side and dumping it out front of the net to Rawding for the hat trick. Following three unanswered goals, McKeegan found herself with the ball cutting up from behind the net with the turnaround goal to bring the score to 13-6 with just under 10 minutes to play in the third quarter. DelVal followed up with the dream team of Kimbel and Rawding who capitalized on the man-up advantage and cut the deficit down to six, 13-7. The Knights followed up with four goals taking as large as a nine-point lead twice, but Birmingham was ready for the Aggies scoring two goals over the final 2:30 to keep the deficit to eight, 17-9, heading into the final 15 minutes of the game.
The Knights held a 6-2 advantage in scoring over the Aggies in the fourth frame. Trailing by 10, Birmingham ripped a shot wide at the Arcadia keeper. DelVal recollected the ball and kept it in the offensive zone over the next 30 seconds with Birmingham coming up with the goal marking a hat trick and bringing the deficit back down to single digits, 19-10. Rawding scored the final goal for the Aggies thanks to the help of McKeegan marking Rawding's fifth goal and McKeegan's fourth assist of the game.
