Glendale, Pa. – After postponement and dropping the first two games, the Aggies fell for the third and final time to vote receiver Arcadia University on Monday afternoon.
Hank Bielen and
Jonathan Drews walked to put runners on before
Nathan Fisher doubled down the left line driving home one run. The Knights plated five runs in the bottom half of the first all off starting pitcher
Patrick Flynn.
Nick Koch, who reached on a hit-by-pitch scored on a wild pitch to give the Aggies another run in the second. Arcadia stretched their lead to 7-2 during their turn-up to bat.
Gavin Migliori singled down the left line to drive in Koch after he walked and found himself on second. The Knights scored five runs including a three-run home run to right field by Ajjan in the fourth.
A pair of singles kicked off the fifth inning for the Aggies before Fisher slapped a single to right field scoring Bielen. With two outs,
Tyler Mellinger singled through the left side to bring in Drews; 12-5 after five.
Arcadia plated three more in the sixth taking a 15-5 victory and sweeping the Aggies. DelVal's record falls to 10-17 overall and 2-11 in the MAC Freedom, they next hit the field tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16
