DOYLESTOWN, Pa – The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team dropped their Middle Atlantic Conference opener to the Bulldogs of DeSales University, Saturday October 5th.
 
Within the first minute of the match, the Aggies tried to take an early lead with George Ernot II taking a shot, only for it to sail over the net. The Bulldogs retaliated four minutes later with a shot of their own, and at the 13^th minute DeSales took the lead 1-0. The Aggies recorded five more shots during the first half, none of them finding the back of the net.

At the 62^nd minute, Aiden Lane recorded his first save of the game diving hard right to keep the match at 1-0. The Aggies had five different scoring opportunities after, but the Bulldogs' defense held strong. Within the last minute of the match, the Bulldogs scored, giving the Aggies the 2-0 loss.
 
The Aggies next home game is Tuesday, October 8^th when they face the Lions of Albright College for senior day.
