ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Delaware Valley women's volleyball team traveled to Lebanon Valley College for their second-to-last away game of the 2024 season dropping the contest 0-3 to the Flying Dutchmen.

Victoria Tucker knotted the score at 5-5 in the first set followed by a 5-2 run from LVC to pull ahead by three, 10-7. Kills from
Zariah Prescott,
Gretta Schneider and
Grace Kane kept the Aggies in the game tying the score at 12-12 before a 4-0 run put the Flying Dutchmen in the lead ending the set on a 4-2 run for the 25-19 win.
Prescott combined with
Emma Helverson to put up the first three points for the Aggies in the second set to keep them at a narrow advantage until a 5-0 performance from LVC shifted the edge in its favor, 10-7. The Flying Dutchmen held the Aggies to just seven more points in the set, finishing on a strong 10-3 run for the 25-14 win.
The Aggies took an early 5-2 lead over the Flying Dutchmen in the third set. LVC evened the score at seven apiece before using a 7-2 run to take the ultimate lead. DelVal wouldn't get closer than four the rest of the set with LVC six of the last seven points of the set for the win, 25-16.
The Aggies return to action at home in James Work Gymnasium for their final home contest of the season tomorrow, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. The team will honor their six seniors in a pregame ceremony.
