DOYLESTOWN, Pa – The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team falls to 0-4 in conference after their 0-1 loss against the visiting Cougars of Misericordia.
The Cougars looked to take an early lead, and at the 2
nd minute, took a shot but an Aggie defender blocked it. After 20 minutes of the Cougars having possession,
Pepijn Middel saw an opportunity, only for his shot to end up in the goalkeeper's hands. At the 35
th minute,
Nick Becker had his first save of the game, keeping the game 0-0 going into the second half.
The Aggies tried to take control in the second half with an early shot by Middel.
Roy Hevener got a chance one minute later, but his shot sailed high. After back-and-forth possession, with 16 seconds left on the clock, the Cougars scored off a corner that was headed in by an Aggie defender.
The Aggies next conference game is Saturday, October 26
th when they travel to Arcadia University to face the Knights at 12 p.m.
