Doylestown, Pa. - Jess Williamson scored an impressive four goals to help Delaware Valley women's soccer cruise to an 8-1 win over Rosemont College on Wednesday night.
Williamson got the party started by scoring the first goal at 12:23 with Savannah Rennix picking up an assist. Less than four minutes later, Gillian Baker found the back of the net when Williamson found her all alone ten yards out. Following another Williamson goal, she found Kailey Horton at 29:42 beating a defender and picking the top left corner, putting the Aggies on top 4-0.
Williamson picked up her third of the game seven minutes into the second half as Rennix fed her an area pass and then went around the challenging goalkeeper. The players swapped roles, this time Rennix scoring the goal picking the top right corner in the 60th minute. Williamson and Baker both scored one more before the night was over, but between the two, the Ravens got on the board as Cassidy Smith beat Nicole Shisler at 64:11.
Following the victory, the Aggies improved to 5-4-0 and next hit the field on Saturday, September 23 when they visit Eastern University at 1:00 p.m.
