St. Davis, Pa. - Delaware Valley women's soccer ended in a 2-2 draw with Eastern University on a rainy Saturday Afternoon.
Savannah Rennix and the Aggies got on the board just 42 ticks in the game as Kaily Horton found her all alone to pick the top left corner of the net. Later in the 16th minute, Eastern answered with a goal after the ball bounced off a defender right to Kayla Bardonner who buried it behind DelVal keeper Viola Anderson. At 18:49 Jess Williamson made a short pass over to Horton who scored low to the left from outside the box. The Eagles tied the game once again in the 26th minute with a goal from Madelyn Mullen getting a pass in the box. Shots were tied 7-7 after the first 45 minutes.
The second half ended scoreless with the Eagles leading in shots 13-12 and each side recorded six corners in the game.
Following the tie, the Aggies move to 5-4-1 overall and return to action on Wednesday, September 27 when they travel to Albright College at 4:30 p.m. MAC Freedom conference play beings next weekend at DeSales University.
