Doylestown, Pa. - Delaware Valley women's soccer team had five different goal scorers find the back of the net in a dominant 8-2 win over Immaculata University on Thursday afternoon.
Junior Jess Williamson got the party started when she netted her fifth goal of the season in the 14th minute. Immaculata tied the game five minutes later off a penalty kick goal from Rachel McNamee. Graduate student Savannah Rennix notched her first of the night when she found herself alone down the right side to beat the goalie low left. Junior Gillian Baker chipped in at 28:27 scoring off a free kick 15 yards out over the jumping goalkeeper. Before the half concluded, Williamson grabbed her second of the night with a nice pass from junior Sydney Dispoto, picking the top left corner.
The squads traded goals in the 50th minute as Rennix scored her second of the afternoon, followed quickly by a Mighty Mac goal from Kelsey Caldarelli. Senior Marley Bramsway grabbed her second goal of the season after a slick passing play from Rennix and graduate student Kailey Horton making it a 6-2 game. Dispoto scored her first of the season at 65:22 as Williamson found her with a cross-crease pass. Rennix capped the game off with a hat-trick header goal off a free kick from Baker with a minute left on the clock.
The Aggies look to continue moment on Saturday, September 16 at 12:00 p.m. as they host Keystone College for Alumni Day on Robert A. Lipinski Field.
