Doylestown, Pa. - The Delaware Valley women's soccer team took down the Keystone College Giants 10-1 on Saturday afternoon, getting goals from seven different players.
All the action took place in the first half when the Aggies recorded all 15 of their shots, 14 on goal. The first goal came at 1:42 by Kailey Horton, assisted by Savannah Rennix. Three minutes later, Jess Williamson netted the game-winning goal, with a pass from Marley Bramsway. The Giants got one on the board at 18:41 from Hailey Dunham. Later in the half in the 33rd minute, Grace Quinn scored her first of her career to make the score 7-1 Aggies. First-year Abigayle Saboe notched her first and second goals of her career in the 34th and 40th minute. Nicole Shisler played the whole second half, saving all five that came her way.
With the convincing victory, DelVal improves to 4-3-0 overall and next play back-to-back games at Drew University on Tuesday, September 19, and then host Rosemont College on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
