DOYLESTOWN (Pa) – The Delaware Valley University women's lacrosse team fell to visiting FDU-Florham, 24-4, in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play on Wednesday evening.
The Devils (5-7, 3-1 MAC Freedom) were led by 15 points from Lizzy Escudero who dished out 10 assists and scored five goals. Marissa Ross grabbed an impressive 17 draw controls while adding three goals and two assists, and Alexis Ashton added five goals and an assist.
Susan Rawding led the Aggies (3-8, 1-3) with three draw controls and two goals scored, and Kyra McKeegan had two assists. Hannah Begg scored her first career goal to get DelVal on the board in the second quarter and Kiara Haywood-Rivera netted her 24th of the season in the third. Ashley Birmingham and Leilani Eckert each earned an assist.
DelVal will look to bounce-back at DeSales at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
