DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) – The Delaware Valley University men's lacrosse team used an all-around effort to win its home opener over non-conference foe Albright College, 12-7, on Saturday afternoon.

Albright held a 2-1 lead after two and half minutes of play, before DelVal executed two offensive plays that resulted in George Evanick setting up Brett Ziegler, and Daniel Aulisi finding Chris Marren to put the Aggies on top, 3-2, after one.
The two teams were scoreless through 11 minutes of the second quarter until Aulisi maneuvered through the defense for his first of the day to double the DelVal lead. The Lions got one back, but Marren answered with a half-time buzzer beater to regain the two-goal lead and make it 5-3 at the break.

Early in the final stanza, Aulisi beat the keeper for his fourth of the day, and then setup teammates Jack Sprinkle and George Evanick to extend the advantage to 12-5 and put the game out of reach. The Lions tacked on two goals in the final 67 seconds of regulation for the 12-7 final.
