Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

Aulisi Nets Five Goals as Men’s Lacrosse Suffers First Loss of Season at Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE (Pa.)--- Daniel Aulisi scored five goals, but the Delaware Valley men's lacrosse team fell behind 7-0 to Lebanon Valley in the second quarter and were unable to fully dig themselves out of the hole, as the host Dutchmen ran away with a 15-6 victory to hand the Aggies their first loss of the season.

After LVC took a 3-0 lead into the second, the hosts grew their advantage to 7-0 just over five minutes into the second. Daniel Aulisi found the back of the net to put the Aggies on the board. The Dutchmen would respond to make it 8-1, but Jack Sprinkle and Aulisi would each add tallies before the half ended, trimming the LVC lead to 8-3 at the break.

Lebanon Valley quickly grew their lead to 11-3 five minutes into the second half before Aulisi netted his third goal of the game. The Dutchmen took a 14-4 lead into the final quarter where Aulisi continued his stellar play, scoring two more times, giving him five goals on the afternoon.

Aulisi's five goals left him one short of tying the school record for goals in a game which was set twice by Dylan Brasch.

Trey Ralston led the Dutchmen with four goals, as nine different players scored for LVC.

The Aggies will be back in action Wednesday, March 1st at Kean for a 7 p.m. start.
