Doylestown, Pa. - Delaware Valley men's soccer was shut out by Penn State Berks 1-0 on Wednesday evening as their winless streak extends to four.
The only goal came in the ninth minute when Patrick Cwalinski scored off a penalty kick, his fourth of the season. At 50:23 a yellow card was dealt to Terridine Grant on an aggressive play on keeper Liam Morris.
The Aggies were outshot 18-9 through the 90 minutes. DelVal goalkeepers Billy Meltzer and Morris split time, each making two saves. Danny Henson led the offensive front shooting four times, with only one landing on the cage.
With the loss, the Aggies fell to 3-5-2 and are next in action at home on Saturday, October 7 when they host King's College at 3:30 p.m. for senior day.
