Center Valley, PA- Delaware Valley Field Hockey played their final away game of the season when they traveled to DeSales University to take on the Bulldogs. After racking up two straight wins in conference, DelVal dropped their pervious game at home to Stevens. The Aggies would go on and fall to DeSales by a score of 8-1, mathematically eliminating the Aggies from playoff contention in the 2023 MAC Freedom Playoffs.
After a scoreless first ten minutes, DeSales would start off the scoring with a goal scored by Delani Remp off a pass from Jordyne Strong. Minutes later after her assist, Jordyne Strong would give DeSales a 2-0 lead off a pass from Delani Remp. Maddie Trocki would finish off the first period for the DeSales with a late goal to extend the Bulldogs lead. In the second period, DeSales would continue their offensive dominance as Maddie Siegfried scores off a pass from Delani Remp. Massive start to the game for Delani Remp as she helped score or assist her teams three of their first four goals. Delaware Valley would respond as sophomore
Kenzie Boyd scores her second goal of the season to cut the deficit. DeSales would end the half with a goal scored by Allison Devlin. DeSales would start the second half strong with goals from Morgan Benner and Maddie Trocki. Final goal of the day for the Bulldogs would go to Catie McGraph off a pass from Allison Devlin to cap off an 8-1 victory over the Aggies.
Delaware Valley will be back in action on Saturday, October 28th as they will play their final game of the season at home against the Knights of Arcadia. Senior Day for the Aggies as DelVal Field Hockey will honor four seniors,
