Dallas, Pa. - The Delaware Valley women's soccer team was outpaced by Misericordia University, dropping the game 8-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars scored seven goals over the course of the first 45 minutes on 25 shots. Viola Anderson made nine saves in the first half.
Savannah Rennix notched one of the two DelVal shots on the day which was saved in the 66th minute. Nicole Shisler entered the save making one save at 74:36. Misericordia scored their eighth and final goal with two minutes remaining on the clock. Before time expired, Jess Williamson tallied the second DelVal shot of the game.
The Aggies fell to 7-8-2 and are still in search of the first conference win of 2023. Delaware Valley plays their final home game of 2023 on Wednesday, October 25th at 7:00 p.m. vs Stevens.
