Collegeville, Pa. - The Delaware Valley men's soccer team fell to Ursinus 2-0 with scoring struggles continuing.
Ursinus opened the game by tallying the first three shots before Aaron Osborne sent one wide for the Aggies. The Bears took a 1-0 advantage at 19:50 when Joshua Coster beat the diving Aggie keeper Liam Morris from 30 yards out. The Aggies almost tied the game when Danny Hansen ripped a shot off the crossbar with 15 minutes left in the half.
The Bears cashed in an insurance marker off a penalty kick goal by Tommy Mollis after Amos Debah was given a yellow card in the box. The Aggies pushed back immediately with three quick shots but couldn't solve the Ursinus keeper Josiah Moore.
Following the loss, the Aggies fell to 3-7-2 overall. They will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, October 14 when they travel to Lebanon Valley College at 4:00 p.m.
