Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Impress at Monmouth

WEST LONG BRANCH (Nj.)--- The Delaware Valley men's and women's track and field teams had some notable performances at the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invitational on Saturday. Numerous Aggies set personal records, while others qualified for the MAC Championships. The top achievements of the day were Logan Cooper setting the school record in the 500 meter dash (1:07:16) and Caleb Messenger winning the 400 meter dash (52.51s).

The following performances were personal records:

James Mahana, weight throw (14.09m)

John Mahana, shot put (12.35m) and weight throw (12.08m)

Kait Jones, shot put (9.10m)

Delaney Hilfertey, shot put (10.66m, 6th place) and weight throw (10.79m)

Matt O'Dunlami qualified for the MAC Championships in the 60 meter dash (7.31s) and the 200 meter dash (23.68s, 8th place), while Sarah Mullen qualified for MACs in the 60 meter hurdles (10.12s).

Sarah Mullen, 29.61s, 12th place

Paige Thompson, 30.30s, 15th place

Women's 400 meter dash:

Kelly Hastings, 1:06.71, 4th place

Catherine Couse, 1:19.02, 8th place

Chante Newman, 1:19.13, 9th place

Women's one mile run:

Molly Laird, 6:30.69, 16th place

Women's 3,000 meter run:

Alyssa Blackmon, 11:35:38, 2nd place

Women's long jump:

Paige Thompson, 4.13m, 15th place

Women's weight throw:

Kait Jones, 11.85m, 7th place

Men's 200 meter dash:

Moses Madison, 24.12s, 12th place

Antonio Mable, 27.09s, 31st place

Men's 500 meter dash:

Antonio Mable, 1:23.07, 11th place

Men's 3,000 meter run:

Carter Owen, 9:52.77, 4th place

Matthew Skikus, 10:01.33, 6th place

Men's long jump:

Moses Madison, 5.86m, 14th place

Men's shot put:

Brandon Perot, 14.00m, 7th place

James Mahana, 12.57m, 11th place
