DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team picked up a non-conference sweep over visiting University of Valley Forge as eight different players registered a kill on Thursday night.
The Aggies (7-6) won with set scores of 25-10, 25-25, and 25-18.
Emma Helverson led DelVal with seven kills, Victoria Tucker had four, and Zoe Miller, Kai Logan, and Gretta Schneider each had three. Grace Kane added two kills and Alexandria Engelmeyer and Jena Kreiser added one apiece. Six different athletes registered a service ace led by Helverson with four and Kane with three. Cat Nemil played in two sets and dished out nine assists while Mia Zadlo pitched in with eight helpers.
As a team, the Aggies finished with 24 kills to 15 errors and the recorded 24 assists and 13 service aces.
On the other side, the Patriots (2-7) had 18 kills to 26 errors as a team with 17 assists and five service aces. Telia Robinson and Ava Page led the team with five kills and Vivian Huddleston had 17 assists.
DelVal will get back to conference play on Wednesday, October 5th when they welcome in FDU-Florham for a 7:00 p.m. start.
