IMMACULATA DR (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley women's soccer team got out to an early 1-0 lead, but Immaculata scored two unanswered goals to come away with a 2-1 victory in a non-conference matchup on Saturday.
The Aggies wasted no time finding the back of the net, as Gillian Baker scored her second goal of the season on an assist from Jess Williamson just four minutes into the game to put DelVal ahead 1-0. Thirteen minutes later, Bella Bonilla found the back of the net for the hosts to even the game up at 1-1.
The score would remain tied heading into halftime before Hannah Phillips' third goal of the season put the Mighty Macs in front with 35 minutes left.
The Aggies were held without a shot over the final 20 minutes, as Immaculata came away with the 2-1 victory.
Immaculata fired 20 shots in the game with 15 coming on goal, while DelVal fired 17 shots and eight on net.
Olivia Sherwood made 12 saves in goal for the Aggies.
DelVal will return to action for a home non-conference matchup against Albright on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
