DALLAS (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University men's golf team sits in a tied-5th position after day one of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Championships at Huntsville Golf Club, hosted by Wilkes University. The Aggies shot a 339, 51 strokes over par.
Ethan Saxe led the Aggies with a nine-over par , 81, and currently sits just inside the top-10. Saxe shot one birdie on his round and was plus-4 at the turn.
Jake Kinzer made the turn at 3-over par finished with an 11-over, 83, to rank 18th overall while
Austin Bach is came in T-20 with a first round score of 85 (+13).
Robby Meredith shot a 18-over par, 90, and
Mark Gates rounded out the DelVal scorers with a 91 (+19).
DelVal will conclude the two-day championship tournament tomorrow with the first group going out at 11 a.m. Full pairings for round two can be found
