BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Delaware Valley men's golf finished ninth at the Moravian Weyhill Classic on Monday afternoon.
Eleven teams and 68 golfers competed at Saucon Valley Country Club, a par-72 course. Albright College claimed the team title with a score of 301 (+13), while its own Jonatan Liljeblad took individual honors with a 1-under-par round.
The Aggies finished with a team score of 338 (+50), led by Jack Brennan, who carded a 79 (+7) to finish 20th. Brennan also recorded one of DelVal's five birdies, his coming on the par-4 eighth hole.
Peter Matchett followed with an 83 (+11), while Mason Henne and Daniel McColgan each carded an 88 (+16).
Patrick Taylor rounded out the DelVal lineup with a 90 (+18).
The Aggies will host their first home match of the season on Thursday, October 1, when they welcome PSU-Brandywine to Five Ponds Golf Course.
