GLENSIDE (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley women's soccer team traveled to Arcadia for a MAC Freedom contest and came away on the losing end 5-0.
The Knights quickly jumped out to a 1-0 lead 6:21 into the game on a goal from Caroline Weirich. Olivia Sherwood was able to then make seven first half saves to keep the deficit at one heading into halftime.
Arcadia took just 7:30 into the second half to grow their lead when Taylor Gubler found the back of the net to make it 2-0. The Knights tacked on three more goals to finish off the 5-0 win.
Olivia Sherwood made 14 saves in net for DelVal.
The Aggies will return to action on Wednesday, October 26th for a 4 p.m. home match against DeSales.
