DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) – In the final non-conference game of the season, the Delaware Valley University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 contest to visiting Drew University.
The Rangers (9-4-2) scored twice in the first half and twice in the second while holding the Aggies (6-9-1) to seven shots and three on goal.
Alexa Krause did the scoring for Drew in the first and Jessie Brannick picked up the final two in the second. Krause scored her 14th of the season in the 20th minute, unassisted, then found her 15th of the season less than five minutes later. Isabella Grof-Tisza earned the assist on Krause's second of the game.
DelVal had five chances in the first and forced the Rangers to make two saves, but trailed by two after one half.
Drew's pressure in the second led to two goals by Brannick separated by just 1:46. Sam Kievit earned the primary assist on both goals and Emma Shatel earned a secondary assist on the second which came with 19:19 left in regulation and sealed the 4-0 victory
Marley Bramsway, Samantha Greco, and Jess Williamson accounted for the shots on goal by DelVal and senior Olivia Sherwood made seven saves.
The Aggies have three conference games in seven days beginning at Arcadia on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
