SWARTHMORE (Pa.) -- Host Swarthmore College scored three times in the first quarter and never looked backed as it rallied for a 7-0 non-conference victory over the visiting Delaware Valley University field hockey team on Saturday afternoon. 

The Garnet (4-1) got goals from three different players in the opening stanza, including one off a corner attempt. They added two in the second to take a commanding, 5-0, lead over the Aggies (0-6) at the break. Two goals separated by three minutes sealed teh 7-0 win. 

Maiya Wendel, Ashley Birmingham, and Susan Rawding off the bench had the three shots on goal for DelVal while keeper Alyssa Rudd made 15 saves. Seven different players scored for Swarthmore and Victoria Kimmel made three saves in the win.
