DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) -- Visiting Ramapo College scored three times in the first half and never looked back as it ran away from the Delaware Valley University field hockey team with a 4-1 non-conference victory. 

The Roadrunners (3-1) got on the board less than two minutes into the game when Talitha Joustra laced one home from the top of the arch off a corner play and Victoria Docherty got the assist. Less than five minutes later, Docherty made it 2-0 with a goal off an assist from Dylan Ghimary. Docherty picked up her second goal of the game when she cashed in a penalty stroke in the second quarter to put the visitors up three. 

Ramapo held DelVal without a shot through three quarters and extended its lead to 4-0 when Maggie Farrell found the back of the cage with less than 12 minutes less in regulation. 

Senior Maiya Wendel scored off a corner play late in regulation for her first career goal and keeper Alyssa Rudd made 12 saves despite the loss. 

The Aggies are back in action on September 15 at Drew at 7 p.m.
