DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) – The Delaware Valley University women's lacrosse team was held off the board in the second half as Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom front-runner FDU-Florham pulled away to a comfortable 24-4 road victory.
Before the game, DelVal recognized children battling cancer as it teamed up with the Go4TheGoal campaign in an effort to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer. The entire team wore gold laces in commemoration.
Katie Walsh scored a career-high 10 goals to lead the Devils (10-0, 6-0 MAC Freedom) and Kylee Garcia followed with seven points on five goals and two assists.

For Walls, it was her seventh goal of the season.
Birmingham and Walls each scored once more before the break and the home team trailed, 13-4, going into the second.
The second half was all FDU as it scored 11 while holding DelVal off the board with three shots on goal.
