WILKES-BARRE (Pa.) – The Delaware Valley University baseball team visited King's College for a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom doubleheader on Saturday afternoon and came out on the losing ends of a pair of pitching duals. The Monarchs won game one, 7-1, and took the night cap, 1-0.
The Aggies (6-17, 2-9 MAC FREEDOM) gave the ball to Troy Lachenmayer to start the opener and he allowed just two hits through the first two frames. His team gave him a 1-0 lead in the third as Neal Flogel led off with a single, Joey Lodato moved him over, and Tom Crooks drove him in with a base hit up the middle.

Harston locked in and got his fifth strike out of the game to preserve the 1-0 shutout.
The two teams will wrap-up the season series with a nine inning contest tomorrow in Doylestown at 1 p.m.
