BUCKINGHAM (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University men's golf team tee'd it up against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom foe FDU-Florham on Wednesday afternoon but was defeated, by 20 strokes, 348-368.
The Aggies hosted the match at Lookaway Golf Club for the first time this season and it played over 6,500 yards from the tips with low winds and good conditions.
Thomas Apostolico shot the low-round of the day with a (+12) 84 round. His teammates Brian Leckie and Robert Tighe finished in consecutive order at (+13) 85 and +15 (87), respectively.
DelVal was led by
Tyler Woytas who got back into the 80's with a (+15) 87.
Ryan Obes and
Jared Hanson followed with 20-over and 21-over, respecitvely.
Nathan Frick roudned out the day with a 97.
The next time the Aggies take the course will be at the MAC Freedom championships on Saturday.
