ST. DAVID'S (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University volleyball team traveled to Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom foe Eastern University, but came back empty handed in a 3-0 loss. Set scores were 25-13, 25-21, and 25-12.
The Aggies (4-15, 0-5 MAC Freedom) managed just two kills and hurt itself with nine errors in the first set while the Eagles (14-8, 4-2 MAC Freedom) finished 10 kills, but also committed nine errors as it led wire-to-wire for the first set win.Â

Laura Sweger for a kill. Later in the set, with the score knotted at 10-10, the Aggies went on a 5-0 run behind two service aces from Krista HIller. DelVal maintained a two-point lead at 19-17 after a kill from
Reilly Green, but Eastern countered with a 9-2 run down the stretch to close out the second set with a four-point win.Â
Sweger led the Aggies in the match with six kills and three blocks, while Green followed with four kills. Nemil dished out 14 assists and eight digs and
Tara Moffa finished with three kills and eight digs.Â
For the Eagles, Cecilia Bauer had a match-high 11 kills and Ally Spillane followed with 10 to go with two aces and two blocks. Kylie McCuster dished out 19 assists and recorded nine digs.Â
