On Sunday, the Delaware Valley University equestrian hunt seat team faced some strong competition in its third meet of the season, but took home the championship ribbon at the Rider University hosted show at Black Horse Stables.

The Aggies began the cool autumn morning with Open Fences in which Kylie Schoelen placed fourth and senior
Alexis Martin received sixth. In Intermediate Fences, senior
Haley Cliver won her class, followed by
Laura Perry in third, Kylie Schoelen in fourth, and
Maggie Gurney in sixth place. Next in Open Flat, Cliver secured first place and Martin received third place. Moving into Intermediate Flat, Perry and Gurney both took home blue ribbons in their split, while
Evelyn Smith garnered second place, and Schoelen finished in third place.

After a schooling break, the jumping classes resumed with Limit Fences, in which sophomore
Katie Brinegar won her class,
Evelyn Smith was awarded second place,
Daria Fabiano and
Dana White received third and fourth, respectively, and Abby Bonita placed sixth.

In Limit Flat,
Haley Ferguson and
Jenna Merrick both placed second, while Brinegar, Liz Bergen, and White all earned third place in their split. In Novice Flat, Georgia Dluhy and Brooke Benson won their classes, Lindsey Myers and
Madison Frazier received second, and Zoe Crouse and Ali Burdick placed third. Also in Novice Flat, Abigail Laws and
Nina Dellarte took fourth place, and Samantha Adams and
Madison Lofgren finished in fifth.

Competing in Pre-Novice, Hailey Yost landed in third place and Jacey Richard gained fifth place. To finish off this competitive day,
Alyssa Gerdy and
Brittany Schenk secured first place and Jacob Kwiatkowski and Sam Angelella earned third place in Introductory.
