OWINGS MILLS (MD) -- Stevenson University notched a goal in each half for a 2-0 triumph over visiting Delaware Valley University in a non-conference match-up.
The win put the Mustangs at 4-3 while the Aggies fell to 3-4.
Stevenson got all the scoring it would need just 8:33 into the game when Jevan Leyh took a free kick into the box and Jason Kahan was there to put it into the net. It remained 1-0 for the next 78 minutes, despite a heavy shot barrage by the Mustangs. Stevenson then got an insurance tally with 7:33 to go as Jay Smith connected from close range off a Nick Ellis assist,
The Mustangs outshot DelVal, 35-3 and had nine of the game's 10 corner kicks. 
Nick Miller had two shots for the Aggies while 
Billy Moyer had the remaining attempt. 
Josh Jarrett kept his team in the game with nine saves.
DelVal will host Wesley College for a non-conference game on Saturday, September 22 (7:30 p.m.).
