LAFAYETTE HILL (PA) -- The Delaware Valley University men's golf team took on a pair of Division-II school's in a tri-match at the ACE Club in Lafayette Hill, Pa. and finished with a team score of 350, behind Concordia College's 294 and Jefferson University's 343.
The ACE Club plays to 7,500 yards from the tips and plays to a par-72 with four par-5 and four par-3 holes.
The Clippers of Concordia College placed all five of their golfers at the top of the leader board, led by Mos Bangpetch and his 1-under, 71. Santiago Luna followed with an even-par effort and the highest scoring Clipper shot a 5-over, 77.
The Aggies were led by junior
Colton Lesh who posted a 11-over, 83, matching his low-score from a season ago and placing him sixth on the day.
Colin Casserly and
Tyler Woytas finished just behind Lesh with identical scores of 84 (+12) to earn seventh place.
Ryan Obes and
Jared Hanson finished in consecutive order with Obes carding a 99 (+27) and Hanson, a 103 (+31).
Wednesday marked the final tune-up for DelVal before it heads to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom championships this weekend. The two-day event will take place on Saturday and Sunday and feature a field of 39.
