BUCKINGHAM (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's golf team dropped a 326-365 decision to Alvernia University at the Lookaway Golf Club on Wednesday.
The Crusaders had five of the top six scores on the par-72, 6,605-yard course with four counting towards the team total. Keith Noonan had the best round of the day with a four-over-par 76 while Bobby Cullen was right behind with an 80. Brad Viggiano (84), Kyle Millard (86) and Joe Polidoro (86) had sub-90 scores as well.
For the Aggies,
Tyler Woytas had the team's top score as she shot a 15-over-par 87.
Colton Lesh followed with a 91 while
Eric Wimmer had a 92. Ryan Oboes and
Nathan Frick finished with rounds of 95 and 102 respectively.
DelVal also had a few golfers competing as individuals and not towards the team score.
Jared Hanson had the best round of the day for an Aggies as carded an 85.
Noah Arrington (92),
Austin Stoeckel (93) and
Colin Casserly (101) also hit the course.
