After MacDonnell got his second of the day for the Rangers, the Aggies responded with three unanswered goals to cut their deficit to four, 7-3, going into the fourth. First it was Chris Coyle feeding Jordan Smith, and just 40 seconds later Matt Waibel set up Dylan Brasch to make it 7-2. With 1:38 left in the stanza, Smith got his second of the day and eighth of the year on an unassisted tally.

The Aggies held a 16-15 advantage in shots on goal heading into the fourth quarter. In that final stanza Drew outscored DelVal 3-1 to claim the 10-4 victory.

The Aggies finished the game with a 20-18 advantage in shots on goal and won 11-of-17 face offs. Smith (2 goals) and Waibel (1 goal, 1 assist) led the offense with two points apiece. Brasch finished with one goal and Coyle, one assist. Nic Brown and Gavin Yingling split the time in goal and made five and three saves, respectively, with Brown getting the loss. Jerad Wilson paced the defense with seven ground balls and three caused turnovers.

The Rangers were led by MacDonnell's four-point day on two goals and two assists. Crowley followed with three points on two goals and one helper and Lyons finished with two tallies as well.
