CHESTER (PA) – Widener University scored three times in the first half, en route to a 4-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley University in a non-conference game.
The Pride (6-5) got all the offense they would need with 16:12 left in the opening stanza as Jackie Daniels connected off an Erin Callahan assist. Later in the half, Lexie Eberly and Madi Radnoff scored in a four-minute span for a 3-0 advantage.
Kelly Ramsdale found the back of the cage five minutes into the second half to end the scoring. Widener had 17 of the game's 18 shots and corners. For the Aggies (5-7),
Kita Konerth was credited with 10 saves while
Jess Dixon had the lone shot.
