CENTER VALLEY (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's golf team competed in its first head-to-head match of the 2018-19 season as it teed off on the home course of DeSales University at Brookshire Country Club on Thursday afternoon.
The Bulldogs came away with the low team-score of the day and a 336-357 win over the Aggies.
Senior
Colton Lesh shot his third consecutive sub-80 round in as many starts this season, by posting a plus-six, 78, on Thursday afternoon.
Junior
Nathan Frick and Sophomore
Jared Hanson each broke the 90-stroke plateau with scores of 87 and 89, respectively.
Tyler Woytas, Riley Guinan, and
Austin Stoeckel rounded out the group of DelVal golfers that competed at Brookshire, but only the top-four scores were counted into the team score. Woytas carded a 103 while Guinan shot 107 and Stoeckel posted a 108.
The Aggies will tee off on their home course, Five Ponds, for the first time this season next Friday as it hosts Arcadia University for a head-to-head match starting at 1 p.m.
