GLENSIDE (PA) – Arcadia University scored the only goal it needed in the first minute of the game and secured a 3-0 non-conference victory over visiting Delaware Valley University on Tuesday night.
The Knights, a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth, improved to 8-2 on the season while the Aggies fell to .500 at 5-5.
Gabby Sedares set up Mickie March just 76 seconds into the game to give Arcadia the 1-0 lead. Sedares got on the board in the second half off a feed from Lauren Dougherty that doubled the Knights lead with 27:51 left in regulation. 13:30 later, it was Lindsay Bechtold that found that back of the cage to secure the 3-0 home win.
Arcadia held a 16-1 advantage in shots for the game and
Kita Konerth made six saves for the Aggies.
DelVal will play its third MAC Freedom game of the season on Saturday when it hosts Manhattanville College at 1 p.m.
