DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team played the final leg of a back-to-back tonight at Wesley College, and dropped a 3-0 non-conference decision to the home team.
The Wolverines (11-13) won with scores of 25-4, 25-8, and 25-21.
The Aggies (4-12) had 14 kills in the match led by five from senior
Danielle McKelvey who also led the team with eight assists.
Tara Moffa paced the squad with 24 digs from the libero position, followed by 12 by
Kayla Bracken. Bracken also notched three kills in the match.
Alexis Sideris,
Samantha Nields, and
Laura Sweger had a block apiece and McKelvey and Nields each had a service ace.
Reagan Healey had a match-high 11 kills and 23 digs to lead Wesley. Micah Wright had a solo block and three block assisted and Teaghen Vogelsang dished out 17 assists. Caelli Clifford had a match-best two service aces.
DelVal will look to snap a two-game losing skid at home against Middle Atlantic Conference foe FDU-Florham on Tuesday, October 16 at 7 p.m.
