Box Score WILLIAMSPORT (PA) – Penn College earned its first victory of the season by blanking visiting Delaware Valley University, 3-0, on Friday night.
 
The Wildcats improved to 1-3 overall while the Aggies fell to 1-2.
 
Penn College got the scoring started early when Chris McFarland fed a pass to Daniel Hibbs who deposited his first of the year just less than 20 minutes into the game. Just before the halftime whistle, Austin Dorwick made it 2-0 with a bicycle kick off a rebound. McFarland was credited with his second assist on the goal.
 
The Aggies outshot Penn College 6-1 and forced the Wildcats to make two saves in the first 20 minutes of the second stanza. However, it was Penn College that found the back of the net to take a three-goal lead thanks to Adam Heintzelman's first tally of the season. The Wildcats held on the rest of the way to take the 3-0 victory.
 
McFarland led all players with four shots on goal and two assists while Malcolm Kane stopped four shots in goal.
 
The Aggies had four different players register a shot on goal while keeper Connor Hedgepeth totaled four saves.
